This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.
• Act as a local intermediary between internal/external entities and your designated customer(s)
• Manage the customer relationship and play a vital role in the overall business strategy and growth
• Create and maintain a communication plan for site customers, coordinating and facilitating regular meetings between GE Vernova and the customer
• Supervise Gas Power warranty and relevant commercial considerations, including concessions as they arise, ensuring a balance of mutual benefits
• Handle outage/non-outage parts planning, which encompasses quote requests, delivering quotes to customers, managing parts orders throughout delivery, and invoicing for parts as necessary
• Manage the planning and execution process of outages and the processing of Change Orders
• Oversee customer invoicing, collections, and support internal financial operating metrics at GE Vernova
• Serve as the Customer Advocate within the GE Vernova organization
• Lead and drive the resolution of all emergent/forced outage issues
• Ensure safe outage planning and execution, keeping in mind our GE Vernova "Life Saving Rules"
• Responsible for comprehensive outage execution by organizing pre-outage, post-outage, and outage milestone meetings to achieve desired outcomes
• Oversee contract leadership and fulfillment, including all project deliverables, and have a thorough understanding of T&Cs and contract requirements such as LD & Bonus structure
• Manage contract performance-related activities typically associated with a customer site
• Serve as the link between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests
• Ensure timely resolution of issues, keeping the customer informed about project progress, and negotiate changes and solutions to any arising issues
• Ensure compliance with contract service, operations, and performance specifications, along with financial & technical metrics specific to the contract
• Engage in proposal negotiations and contract administration for assigned proposals/contracts with minimal oversight
• Provide support to managers and senior contracts personnel regarding assigned contracts
• Act as the customer's liaison on contract-related matters
• Influence the development of strategy within the scope of responsibility
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College
• An associate's degree coupled with 7 years of experience in the power generation industry, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in the power generation sector
• At least 5 years of knowledge and experience in power plant field services and/or Outage Management within the Power/Energy Industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues
• Demonstrated capability to lead programs/projects
• Proficiency in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs
• Established skills in project management
• Strong leadership, financial, and commercial acumen
• Advanced technical knowledge regarding Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator, and the planning and execution of maintenance and upgrade outages
• Experience in presenting and managing stakeholder teams
