Customer Operations Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert program and technical assistance to parents, schools, and vendors within a cloud-based Contact Center.

• Assist families, educational institutions, and vendors across all facets of the WV Hope Scholarship.

• Offer outstanding customer support through both phone and email communications.

• Train to evaluate and process a range of documents related to the Scholarship, including student applications, curriculum orders, and additional materials.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferable experience with school choice or ESA programs, though not mandatory.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, with a capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.

• Proven effective soft skills, active listening capabilities, and the ability to empathize with customer needs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating active listening to understand customer requirements and effectively address their inquiries or concerns.

• College degree preferred; however, a High School diploma or equivalent is required.

• Exceptional interpersonal, time-management, and documentation skills.

• Professional demeanor and a willingness to learn and continuously enhance skills.

• Experience with Microsoft and Google applications.

• A dedicated workspace with minimal background noise for calls and online meetings.

• Reliable Wi-Fi, a fast ethernet connection, and a dependable desktop or laptop equipped with a high-quality camera.

• Successful completion of all required background checks.

• Ability to solve problems based on established processes and procedures.

• Attention to detail in logging interactions through established business processes and tools.

• Capacity to learn and become proficient with program guidelines and software applications.
