This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Take ownership of technical sales engagements from initial discovery to final close.
• Provide customized, high-impact demonstrations that emphasize business outcomes.
• Convert customer workflows into Federato configurations, including quoting, rating, endorsements, and portfolio optimization.
• Drive the completion of RFPs and security questionnaires in collaboration with the Product and Security teams.
• Create and maintain reusable demo environments that reflect the needs of target customer segments.
• Develop onboarding materials, configuration libraries, and sample rating logic.
• Collaborate with the Manager of Pre-Sales and Product Marketing to enhance messaging frameworks and technical materials.
• Co-define and continuously enhance the pre-sales lifecycle, including discovery, solutioning, and handoffs.
• Contribute to shared team resources such as:
• Discovery playbooks
• Configuration scopes and success criteria templates
• Demo setup guides and walkthroughs
• Work with Product and Engineering teams to ensure alignment of the roadmap with customer pain points.
• Identify recurring objections and product gaps with clarity and context.
• Provide context after sales to the Implementation and Customer Success teams.
• 6–10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
• Practical experience in conducting demos, designing architectures, and supporting enterprise sales.
• Strong knowledge of the insurance domain or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with policy lifecycle management, rating, quoting, and underwriting systems.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical value to both executives and practitioners.
• Proficiency in coding with Javascript and SQL.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
