Customer Engagement Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver, demonstrate, and implement process solutions that fulfill or surpass customer expectations.

• Install customer-specific processes on both new and refurbished systems.

• Improve procedures, specifications, and existing processes to facilitate the delivery of high-quality equipment.

• Attend on-site for process installation, development, and update meetings.

• Collaborate with internal SPTS hardware and factory teams.

• Work together with the sales team on new applications or potential future tool sales.

• Present on all onsite projects.

• Proactively offer solutions when necessary.

• Conduct in-depth compilation and analysis of data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in a relevant science or engineering field is required.

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in the semiconductor industry (process engineering with a fundamental understanding of general semiconductor manufacturing processes).

• Desired knowledge of clean room procedures and analytical instrumentation.

• Experience in report writing and delivering progress presentations regularly, utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Familiarity with basic Lean/6-sigma concepts is preferred.

• Familiarity with employing AI (CoPilot) for efficient workflow management.

• Experience in customer interactions and the ability to navigate challenging situations effectively.
