This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Cultivate strategic and successful relationships within the internal organization and Costco to drive both inline and online performance.
• Foster robust working partnerships with all internal teams, including Customer Strategy, Finance, Customer Service, and both shopper and digital teams.
• Achieve target budget plans and objectives for new product distribution.
• Implement our brand and category growth strategy that is in alignment with customer needs.
• Discover new avenues for growth while outlining strategies for existing distribution; create and execute strategic written sales plans that align with corporate objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with Costco Buyers, Assistant Buyers, and regional buying teams to influence assortment choices and promote long-term growth.
• Inform our business partners about our products, retail objectives, and success metrics.
• Oversee daily business operations in collaboration with customers, including UPC product/item setup, maintenance, logistics, and inventory management.
• Accountable for coordinating with agencies to manage Trade Investment Management (Osprey): system input, trade fund management, and direct sales forecasting and projection activities for the organization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance Costco depot distribution model, encompassing forecasting, inventory flow, and replenishment planning.
• Conduct monthly reporting, sales analytics, and insights; comprehend go-to-market strategies to optimize sales efficiency.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred; at least 2 years managing large customers is desired.
• Sales experience in the Grocery, Drug, and/or Mass retail channels is essential.
• Familiarity with Costco and the Club channel is required.
• Experience in consumer goods and vitamins and supplements is highly preferred.
• Previous experience utilizing syndicated data to identify customer needs and implement effective pricing and promotional strategies that enhance sales and market share for the company and its clients.
• Understanding of Project Management, with experience in setting up and overseeing projects in a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relationship management, along with the experience and mindset to collaborate with partners in creating initiatives that meet objectives.
• Strong cross-functional relationships with assigned accounts.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
