This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee the functional management, leadership, and execution of all sales activities for the BJ’s account.
• Cultivate strategic and successful relationships throughout the BJ’s portfolio.
• Build robust working relationships with all internal teams, including Customer Strategy, Finance, and Customer Service.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the customer's go-to-market model, including Category Management strategy.
• Achieve target budget plans and new product distribution objectives.
• Implement our brand and category growth strategy that aligns with the customer’s goals.
• Identify and pursue new growth opportunities; create and execute strategic written sales plans in line with corporate objectives.
• Maintain a clear understanding of customer objectives and collaborate with the RVP to develop operational plans for execution and performance measurement.
• Nurture and expand both existing and new relationships within the account.
• Educate business partners on our products, retail objectives, and success metrics.
• Deliver customer presentations that showcase innovation, shelf positioning, promotions, and pricing communication.
• Collaborate with customers to manage daily business operations.
• Promote new products and all promotional activities to qualified retailers, ensuring comprehensive distribution of both new and existing items.
• Work alongside customers to implement retail initiatives and uphold retail standards.
• Engage in ongoing contract management that emphasizes strategic alignment.
• Responsible for collaborating with agencies to input Trade Investment Management (Osprey).
• Conduct monthly reporting, sales analytics, and insights.
• Manage P&L within respective account coverage.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience is preferred; a minimum of 2 years managing large customers is required.
• Strong relationships and/or experience with BJ’s or similar retailers are essential.
• Sales experience in the grocery, drug, and/or mass retail channels is required.
• Prior experience with BJ’s is preferred.
• Experience in consumer goods, particularly vitamins and supplements, is highly preferred.
• Previous experience utilizing syndicated data to assess customer needs and implement effective pricing and promotional strategies that enhance sales and market share for both the company and its customers.
• Knowledge of project management and experience in establishing and managing projects within a complex, fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in relationship management, with a proven ability to collaborate with partners to develop initiatives that achieve goals.
• Strong cross-functional relationships with assigned accounts are necessary.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience in P&L management and possesses strong financial acumen.
