This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the strategy for customer audit readiness across designated stations.
• Perform pre-audits and validation assessments tailored to airline-specific requirements.
• Ensure that stations are adequately prepared to fulfill customer audit expectations, including those set by UAL and BA.
• Validate audit responses and maintain consistency in representation.
• Monitor audit results and escalate any compliance risks related to customers.
• Govern corrective and preventive actions that arise from customer audits and requirements.
• Ensure that CAPAs are clearly defined, assigned, and time-sensitive.
• Validate that corrective actions effectively address root causes related to customer standards.
• Conduct on-site assessments to ensure compliance with airline operational requirements.
• Identify discrepancies in the interpretation and execution of customer standards.
• Provide guidance to stations on the correct application of customer requirements.
• Monitor compliance-related customer KPIs, audit outcomes, and performance metrics.
• Identify trends and recurring issues that may impact customer compliance risk.
• Deliver structured updates to Excellence Assurance and operational leadership.
• Highlight customer-specific compliance risks, recurring challenges, and performance trends.
• Collaborate with KAM, FSQA, Safety, and Operations to align with customer standards.
• Offer technical insights for internal decision-making and assist KAM with technically validated customer communications.
• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Profound knowledge of airline catering operations, HACCP, ISO 22000, and aviation food safety regulations.
• Excellent communication abilities with vendors, regulators, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Sound understanding of aviation industry compliance frameworks and airport security protocols.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to cultivate relationships at all organizational levels and navigate a highly matrixed environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business software.
• Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience with major international airlines or comparable large-scale aviation operations.
• Experience in conducting audits, investigations, and inspections in food safety and compliance.
• Familiarity with catering service providers for major airlines, compliance with aviation regulations, and upholding high food safety and quality standards.
• Willingness and capability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
