This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both external and internal clients.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customers.
• Recognize customer issues and clearly communicate solutions.
• Proactively work to maintain customer relationships.
• Adhere to the South State Bank Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Utilize active listening, critical thinking, and probing skills to address customer inquiries effectively on the first call.
• Respond to incoming phone inquiries in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Offer tier one digital banking support.
• Accurately and efficiently process customer inquiries to build confidence and trust.
• Advocate for our virtual branch solutions among customers.
• Achieve or surpass the quality and productivity targets set for Customer Care Representatives by management.
• Safeguard customer information and assist in minimizing bank losses.
• Maintain proficiency in PC skills, including troubleshooting common issues.
• Provide support by undertaking additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
• Uphold a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude when interacting with customers at all times.
• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience in customer service, particularly in an inbound call center setting.
• Background in financial services is preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency and the ability to navigate systems for quick issue resolution.
• Exceptional customer service abilities, including verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Capability to handle confidential information professionally, both internally and externally.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Open to coaching and constructive feedback.
• Exhibit a strong desire to meet or exceed goals and solve problems in a dynamic work environment.
• Possess interpersonal skills that foster a positive and effective workplace.
