This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Acquire and implement concepts, procedures, and methodologies related to Retention Sales and Customer Care.
• Perform foundational sales and support tasks within a specified region or business segment.
• Address incoming customer inquiries through phone or ticketing systems, ensuring personalized and thoughtful communication.
• Listen actively and inquire to comprehend customer needs, demonstrating empathy and respect.
• Manage a variety of customer-facing responsibilities, including:
• Processing requests for service disconnection or removal
• Offering billing and pricing details
• Troubleshooting standard issues remotely or guiding customers through resolution steps
• Coordinating service appointments when remote resolutions are not feasible
• Facilitating product returns or exchanges
• Handling add/change/delete requests on hosted platforms
• Utilize effective telephone sales techniques to:
• Foster rapport and identify customer challenges
• Propose innovative solutions and clarify product/service advantages
• Negotiate household expenditures and promote additional services
• Precisely and swiftly enter orders
• Achieve or surpass weekly and monthly sales activity targets.
• Adhere to company-approved scripts to maintain consistent communication.
• Support special projects as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Capability to ask probing questions to identify solutions that align with customer needs
• Proven patience and professionalism in all customer interactions
• Familiarity with Cable One products and services
• Excellent communication and active listening abilities
• Capacity to remain calm and empathetic in high-pressure situations
• Capability to sit for extended durations, use hands, talk, and hear
• May need to lift up to 10 pounds
