This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate closely with customer teams as a hands-on technical partner, engaging directly in their environments to address real-world challenges.
• Take ownership of the technical success of customer implementations across various Harness modules.
• Act as a liaison between customer teams and Harness Product & Engineering.
• Provide practical guidance to incorporate Harness into existing toolchains and workflows.
• Design and implement CI/CD, infrastructure, and DevSecOps workflows customized to customer architectures.
• Lead onboarding, implementation, and enablement initiatives to accelerate time-to-value.
• Advocate for broader adoption of the Harness platform, assisting customers in extending their use beyond initial use cases.
• Architect solutions that integrate multiple modules (e.g., pipelines, infrastructure, security, cost optimization).
• Guide customers towards a platform-centric approach rather than relying on fragmented tools.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to engineering and platform leadership.
• Develop and implement success plans that align with both business and technical objectives.
• Conduct technical and business reviews to showcase value and pinpoint growth opportunities.
• Analyze usage, pipeline performance, and adoption metrics to identify gaps and possibilities for improvement.
• Provide actionable recommendations across technology, processes, and team practices.
• Proactively identify risks to adoption or retention and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap based on customer insights.
• Work alongside Sales and Customer Success on strategies for expansion and renewal.
• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering, solutions architecture, DevOps, or technical consulting.
• Proven experience in deeply technical, customer-facing roles, preferably in a forward-deployed, consulting, or professional services context.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex implementations and drive customer success.
• Proficiency in multiple technologies, including but not limited to: AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, CloudFormation, Linux, Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, OpenShift, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Harness, Python, Bash, YAML (Go is a plus).
• Expertise in secure pipeline design and policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with SAST, DAST, SCA, or supply chain security concepts.
• Experience in integrating security within CI/CD workflows.
• Relevant certifications (AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.).
