This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Delivering outstanding customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance entities
• Managing a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls on a daily basis
• Updating account details, including product requirements, insurance information, and contact details, etc.
• Contacting doctor's offices to follow up on essential paperwork
• Reviewing documentation received from a patient's healthcare provider
• Placing resupply orders for existing patients who require incontinence supplies and catheters
• Investigating insurance payer requirements and understanding reimbursement protocols
• Troubleshooting equipment issues and suggesting alternative products
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One year of customer service experience is preferred
• One year of call center experience is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking abilities
• Proficient de-escalation skills
• Outstanding active listening capabilities
• Ability to multitask effectively, switching between open applications while conversing with patients
• Capability to type 40+ words per minute accurately
• Familiarity with various types of insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
• Knowledge of DME supplies, particularly incontinence products and catheters
