Customer Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

đź“‹ Description

• Support and oversee a designated portfolio of clients for Intermedia’s hosted solutions.

• Develop and create a quarterly business review to uncover account-level opportunities that align with Intermedia’s product objectives.

• Research and identify upsell and cross-sell prospects within your assigned account list.

• Mitigate account churn through effective management and problem-solving strategies.

• Prioritize tasks to meet or exceed sales quotas.

• Prepare and present proposals and presentations as necessary.

• Conduct online demonstrations of Intermedia’s offerings.

• Assist clients with requests for platform migrations and changes to their plans.

• Provide technical insights regarding Intermedia products and services.

• Collaborate with internal partners on cross-sell opportunities as required.

• Work collaboratively with the onboarding team to ensure successful client account modifications.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of successful experience in B2B account management, solution selling, and a bachelor’s degree or graduation from a technical school.

• Proven ability to establish and nurture client relationships via telephone communication.

• Track record of meeting upsell and cross-sell sales targets while managing SMB accounts.

• Proficient in value-based selling focused on ROI and delivering high value to clients.

• Experience or affinity for technology, with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and software.

• Skilled in identifying and fostering relationships at all organizational levels.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment where self-motivated individuals excel.

• A strong passion, drive, and desire to be part of a growing team.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills combined with diligent follow-up practices.

• Capability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a strong focus on detail for each assignment.

• Self-driven, energetic, organized, results-oriented professional with a positive attitude.

• Experience using Salesforce.com or other CRM systems.

• Experience supporting small and medium B2B customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel is a plus.

• Familiarity with the Challenger Sales Methodology.

• ****Bonus Skills:******

• Preferred knowledge of UCaaS services, Microsoft products, mobility solutions, web hosting, and other services provided by Intermedia, although not required.
