This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide advisory services and close deals from start to finish.
• Handle high-intent inbound inquiries via phone and email from the Globe platform and the Emma Cruises audience.
• Quickly establish authentic relationships - we aim for lasting connections with our customers.
• Create tailored itineraries and quotes, finalizing cruise bookings across mainstream, premium, and select luxury lines.
• Arrange complete travel experiences where beneficial - including flights, accommodations, transfers, insurance, and additional services - not just the cruise.
• Manage group bookings (for milestone birthdays, anniversaries, reunions) with confidence and precision.
• Serve as the trusted point of contact for guests.
• Act as the primary contact for guests throughout their journey - the person they return to, recommend to friends, and request by name.
• Maintain the CRM accurately and regularly - ensuring clean records, documented conversations, and preferences to properly care for guests and smoothly transition between advisors.
• Implement a proactive post-booking service - including pre-cruise touchpoints, price monitoring, and providing genuine assistance before, during, and after the trip.
• Encourage repeat bookings and referrals; focus on nurturing the lifetime relationship with the guest rather than just individual transactions.
• Uphold the integrity of the brand.
• Offer honest, unbiased recommendations. Our reputation is built on Emma's content and a community of over half a million cruisers - we never prioritize commission over the best advice.
• Manage issues and crisis situations calmly, always prioritizing the customer's interests.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy regarding fares, cabins, payment schedules, and documentation.
• Collaborate as part of a remote team.
• Thrive in a fully remote, fast-paced setting - you should be self-directed, disciplined, and dependable without supervision.
• Adhere to the agency's processes and quality assurance standards - and provide honest feedback when improvements can be made.
• Utilize the Globe platform's data on each customer (including their wishlists, viewed itineraries, and booking history) to understand them prior to the initial call.
• The Bar: We are seeking the top cruise advisors in the country and we are proud of that. This is a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. In exchange, you will receive something rare: high-quality, unrestricted inbound leads, a genuine community behind every interaction, and a rapidly growing agency to advance with.
• The annual personal quota for this role is $4 million in cruise GMV, and we are committed to providing you with the necessary support to exceed this target. This quota is intentionally significant. If this figure excites you rather than intimidates you, continue reading. If it intimidates you, this position may not be suitable for you.
• Extensive cruise specialization. We seek a true cruise expert, not a general travel agent. Typically, we prefer candidates with 3+ years of direct cruise experience, possessing strong knowledge of mainstream and premium lines, cabin details, fare and promotion mechanics, payment schedules, and common booking pitfalls.
• Proven success record. You should have a demonstrable history of personal cruise sales achievements, with multiple 7-figure annual booking volumes. You should be able to discuss specifically and credibly about what you have sold, your close rates, repeat business, and referrals.
• Ability to build rapport primarily over the phone. You should naturally establish trust and warmth over the phone. We believe in U.S. customers purchasing from a U.S. advisor.
• Proficiency with CRM systems. You should be confident and consistent in using a CRM as a daily operational tool - logging conversations, managing your pipeline, and maintaining clean customer records. Strong CRM discipline is a genuine differentiator for us, not an afterthought.
• Familiarity with booking platforms. You should possess good working knowledge of all major cruise line platforms, enabling you to book efficiently and accurately under time constraints. Familiarity with insurance platforms for upselling is also beneficial.
• Ability to succeed in a remote setting. This is a fully remote position. You must genuinely excel in that environment - being self-motivated, organized, and consistent without supervision, while comfortably working asynchronously over Slack, CRM, and documentation.
• Ambition and flexibility. We prioritize working with individuals who are passionate about this role and are willing to invest the time necessary to achieve significant results. This does not always align with a standard 9 to 5 schedule.
• Bonus qualifications include:
• Experience within a host agency or consortium model, particularly within the Internova / Global Travel Collection network.
• Familiarity with T-Profile as a CRM.
• Knowledge of AdvisorOS, Cruise Complete, or similar host back-office systems.
• Experience in group cruise sales.
• Personal cruise experience - we believe that the more you cruise yourself, the better equipped you are to advise others.
• A public record of recognition - such as top producer, President's Club, or supplier acknowledgment.
• This is a full-time W-2 employed position.
• Fully remote - work from any location in the U.S.
• Competitive base salary, adjusted based on experience and track record, discussed during the interview.
• Tiered personal commission on the revenue you generate, designed so that a strong advisor can earn significantly above the base salary. Since demand is high and inbound, the model favors genuine earning potential.
• Health insurance.
• 401k plan with a 3% employer match.
• 20 days of paid time off, inclusive of sick leave and all major federal holidays.
• Full access to industry familiarization trips, ship inspections, and cruise line events, most of which are fully hosted.
• Provision of a laptop, phone system, and all necessary tools to perform at your best.
• Staff travel discounts.
