This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Conduct brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and appropriate service linkage for individuals facing an acute mental health crisis.
• Perform outreach calls to individuals assessed by the mobile crisis team to enhance safety.
• Uphold ethical and clinical standards in alignment with all accreditation requirements.
• Participate in team meetings, in-service training, supervision, and various quality assurance training sessions.
• Exhibit exceptional customer service skills and maintain professional etiquette.
• Show proficiency and knowledge in facilitating service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and community resources.
• Foster a departmental culture that encourages cooperation and collaboration with cross-functional departments, community organizations, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the broader public.
• Support administrative tasks as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification is required.
• A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
