Credit Underwriting Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist the underwriting manager in overseeing workflow and managing escalations.

• Conduct daily pipeline reviews to ensure that loans are processed within established business service level agreements.

• Provide mentorship to processors and support in auditing team members.

• Communicate and clarify credit decisions to loan officers and processors.

• Engage in the decline committee process for adverse action letters.

• Strong analytical skills along with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.

• Capability to underwrite complex transactions across various loan plans.

• Familiarity with VA, FHA, Agency, Non-agency, and Community lending policies.
