This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +3 more states.
• Conduct financial analyses necessary for making informed credit decisions regarding both new and existing businesses.
• Assist the commercial banking team by recommending credit solutions that enhance customer value.
• Oversee a specific portfolio of Middle Market commercial loans.
• Ensure adherence to loan agreements, regulatory standards, underwriting protocols, and risk-rating policies.
• Monitor the overall risk profile of a Middle Market portfolio, promptly identifying macro and micro risk factors.
• Recruit talent, establish goals, develop team members, manage employee performance and compensation, encourage collaboration, and address disciplinary matters.
• Handle complex credit operations, ensure underwriting quality, and manage analytical support and workflow production.
• Engage in larger, intricate Middle Market and specialized lending transactions.
• Lead or manage initiatives related to commercial and credit matters.
• Provide guidance to business lines on credit-related issues, processes, and protocols.
• Act as a resource for business lines while collaborating with senior management on various issues, expectations, and timelines.
• Work with Lending/Credit Officers to resolve internal and external audit or examiner findings.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers on routine financial analyses and credit assessments.
• Relay credit decisions to Relationship Managers.
• Oversee departmental workflow and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in organizational cost-benefit analyses and their implementation.
• Establish and maintain measurable service-level standards.
• Guarantee timely information flow and efficient processes and workflows.
• Uphold the confidentiality of credit and customer information.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience is necessary.
• A robust understanding of commercial business development strategies and credit decision-making is essential.
• Proven skills in credit and financial analysis are required.
• Familiarity with capital markets is advantageous.
• Excellent negotiation skills are a must.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities are necessary.
• Proficient PC skills are required.
• Capability to perform continuous sedentary work, multitask, operate office equipment, concentrate, read, write, comprehend, and execute basic arithmetic is essential.
• Occasional domestic travel may be required.
• Confidentiality of credit and customer information must be maintained.
• Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000 to $198,000 USD.
