Credit Analyst – Australian Mortgage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate fact find and accompanying documentation.

• Conduct lender servicing scenarios across pertinent lenders.

• Analyze actual expenditures against HEM benchmarks.

• Determine lender suitability in line with current policies.

• Suggest the best loan and lender combination.

• Generate standardized, decision-ready outputs for brokers.

• Transition to processor and verify AOL/CRM entries prior to submission.

• Execute pricing requests as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Broker Engine — essential for file review, handover, and pre-submission checks.

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a mortgage brokerage — bank-side experience alone is inadequate due to limited lender exposure.

• Comprehensive lender knowledge — must understand policies and servicing for major, second, and third-tier lenders.

• Proficient in Quickli for servicing scenarios.

• Capability to interpret PAYG and self-employed financial statements; trust and SMSF knowledge are highly valued.

• Strong understanding of living expenses analysis for serviceability assessments.

• Extensive AOL experience — necessary to serve as a checkpoint on processor submissions, even though the analyst will not submit applications directly.

• Solutions-oriented — capable of identifying issues and recommending the appropriate lender or structure.

• Detail-oriented — identifies inconsistencies such as income discrepancies, payslips not matching YTD figures, understated living expenses, or liabilities missing from the fact find versus credit report.

• Able to provide clear, concise recommendations to brokers along with a clean handover package for submission.

• Strong English and communication skills — will occasionally interact with bank BDMs to clarify scenarios or policies.

• Experience in complex lending (trust, SMSF) is advantageous for supporting new client acquisition.
