This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor new state medical license applications and renewals for radiologists across various state medical boards.
• Keep track of license expiration dates and commence renewals within designated lead times.
• Maintain precise records of license numbers and state-specific restrictions.
• Assist in initial appointment and reappointment applications for hospital and facility medical staff privileges.
• Compile and submit CVs, malpractice insurance certificates, references, case logs, and health statements to client facilities.
• Monitor privileging timelines and escalate any delays to the Credentialing, Licensing & Privileging Manager.
• Conduct or coordinate primary source verification of education, training, board certification, licensure, and work history.
• Provide support for payer enrollment and maintain CAQH profiles and attestations.
• Query and document findings from NPDB, OIG/SAM exclusion lists, and other necessary databases.
• Maintain credentialing files and databases with up-to-date and accurate provider information.
• Generate reports and dashboards for expirations and renewals; proactively identify upcoming expirations.
• Ensure that files are audit-ready and comply with NCQA, URAC, Joint Commission, and specific client standards.
• Provide updates on status and highlight any delays or compliance risks.
• Stay informed about state-specific licensing requirements and interstate licensure processes such as IMLC.
• Assist in internal and external credentialing audits.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards when managing provider data.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in credentialing, medical staff services, licensing, or healthcare administration.
• Strong organizational abilities to handle a high volume of simultaneous deadlines.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, precision-oriented data tasks.
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification or progress towards certification is preferred.
• Experience in multi-state licensing, telemedicine/teleradiology, or locum tenens credentialing is advantageous.
• Familiarity with IMLC, CAQH, NPDB, and payer enrollment processes is a plus.
