Credentialed Veterinary Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming calls and chats regarding toxic exposures, poisonings, adverse events, and general inquiries related to pet care.

• Assess and prioritize cases.

• Provide accurate information pertaining to medical, health, and safety matters.

• Record documentation in an electronic database.

• Assist pet owners during challenging situations.

• Fulfill assigned schedules on a full-time or part-time basis, which may include evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and rotating holidays.

• Complete 4–6 weeks of fully paid training on a full-time basis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/LVT/RVT).

• Possession of an active CVT/LVT/RVT license; must maintain active licensure throughout the duration of employment.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital.

• Emergency and critical care experience is advantageous for certain positions.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Proficient in keyboarding and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and common software applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; must be professional, empathetic, and composed in high-pressure situations.

• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills; ability to multitask while ensuring quality.

• Proficiency in mathematics across various units of measure, including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.

• Capability to gather, analyze, and synthesize complex or diverse information.

• Ability to follow and implement instructions provided in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.

• Customer service-oriented mindset with a genuine dedication to the well-being of callers.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding client, product, and company information.

• Reliable internet connection that meets SCI’s IT requirements.
