Creative Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee and assist in the creative direction and implementation of CIAT brand materials across both digital and print media.

• Ensure uniformity and excellence in all creative outputs, encompassing website design, landing pages, advertising materials, social media content, email design, and video production.

• Collaborate effectively with fellow marketing team members to conceptualize, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing engagement and driving conversions.

• Manage and prioritize all incoming creative requests, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and in alignment with business objectives.

• Create and sustain creative workflows, timelines, and project tracking systems to facilitate efficient execution.

• Provide continuous coaching, mentorship, and professional development support to team members.

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and career development planning with creative team members.

• Delegate projects efficiently while maintaining accountability for final outputs and overall quality.

• Perform hands-on creative tasks as required, including graphic design, video editing, and minor web design updates.

• Oversee the continuous upkeep of CIAT’s brand identity, visual guidelines, and design systems.

• Supervise the design and enhancement of website and landing pages, focusing on user experience and conversion efficiency.

• Contribute to conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts by testing and refining creative elements such as layouts, messaging, and visual hierarchy.

• Manage relationships with external creative vendors or freelancers as necessary.

• Ensure that all creative assets comply with CIAT’s regulatory requirements, including federal, state, accreditation, and institutional policies.

• Collaborate with HR to mentor and guide employees as required.

• Enforce timekeeping policies to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee timecards.

• Conduct prompt, accurate, and equitable performance reviews, free from bias.

• Maintain a safe, secure, and ethical work environment.

• Comply with CIAT’s regulatory requirements to ensure adherence to all federal, state, accreditation, and institutional policies and procedures.

• Follow communication protocols to guarantee high customer satisfaction and professionalism.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

• 5-7 years of experience in creative, design, or marketing positions, with at least 1-2 years of experience in a management or mentorship role preferred.

• A robust portfolio showcasing experience in graphic design, web design, and video content.

• Proficiency in design and video editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent.

• Practical experience in video editing and a willingness to execute across various creative formats.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing/project management tools.

• Ability to balance hands-on creative tasks with team leadership and project delegation.

• Strong grasp of branding, visual storytelling, and user experience principles.

• Experience in supporting performance marketing initiatives, understanding the impact of creative work on engagement and conversion.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

• Willingness to work outside standard business hours when necessary to meet business needs and deadlines.

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, academic departments, and administration to support student success, achieve institutional objectives, and foster a positive and inclusive culture.

• Demonstrates a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a fast-evolving environment.
