Creative Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive generative workflows utilizing cutting-edge AI tools and APIs.

• Create new innovative capabilities using platforms such as ComfyUI, Kling, Google Veo, Seedance, Higgsfield, and Nano Banana.

• Convert creative direction into repeatable, parameterized systems.

• Create tools and abstractions that simplify complex workflows for non-engineers.

• Integrate generative tools into Liquid Engine using APIs, pipelines, and orchestration layers.

• Assess and refine workflows to enhance quality, cost-efficiency, and speed.

• Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts, shots, and sequences.

• Contribute to internal libraries, templates, and reusable workflow components.

• Assist in defining best practices for AI-native production workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation (Python, JavaScript, or comparable languages).

• Extensive hands-on experience with generative AI tools and workflows.

• Experience in constructing or customizing pipelines in tools like ComfyUI or similar.

• Robust understanding of how to control and direct generative outputs.

• Capability to transform ideas from concept to production-ready systems.

• Comfort in navigating APIs, scripts, and UI-based tools.

• Strong creative instincts—knowledge of composition, motion, or storytelling.

• Experience in production environments (film, content, advertising, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with contemporary generative tools (Kling, Veo, Seedance, Higgsfield, Nano Banana).

• Familiarity with node-based or graph-based creative systems.

• Experience with GPU workflows or inference optimization.

• Background in VFX, motion design, or technical art.

• Experience in developing internal tools or creative tooling.

• Ability to critically evaluate outputs and iterate towards quality.
