This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, cultivate, and secure revenue opportunities within the creative sector, including:
• Grant-funded capacity building programs (DFIs, foundations, public sector)
• Corporate training and partnerships for creative talent development
• Upskilling initiatives led by the creator economy and industry
• Oversee the complete deal lifecycle — from opportunity identification and proposal creation to commercial structuring and contract negotiations.
• Establish ALX as a premier capacity building provider for creative and digital talent, converting market demand into scalable, revenue-generating programs.
• Develop and maintain a robust, strategic pipeline aligned with ALX’s Creative Economy priorities, ensuring clear visibility on revenue opportunities and conversions.
• Unlock and structure partnerships through our media and content production company, encompassing branded content, production, and industry collaborations.
• Manage and enhance key partner relationships, guaranteeing exceptional client service, delivery excellence, and long-term account growth.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that partnerships are executed effectively and achieve both commercial and impact objectives.
• Monitor and report on pipeline health, revenue performance, and partnership outcomes, offering insights to guide strategy.
• Represent ALX within the creative industry, corporate, and donor ecosystem, reinforcing our status as a partner of choice.
• 5–10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial strategy within the creative industries.
• Proven success in driving revenue growth through business development, including grants, corporate partnerships, and large-scale capacity-building or training initiatives.
• Strong comprehension of the creative and digital talent ecosystem, with insights into emerging opportunities within the creator economy and the influence of AI on content creation, distribution, and monetization models.
• Proven ability to originate, structure, and finalize complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Experience in client relationship management and service delivery, with a history of ensuring high-quality program execution.
• Strong commercial insight, with the capability to convert market opportunities into scalable and sustainable revenue streams.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level.
• Experience working across regional and/or global markets, with the capability to navigate diverse stakeholder environments.
