This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take full ownership of the creative process for the Health vertical, encompassing concept development, copywriting, direction, post-production, and the systems that facilitate it.
• Lead the Health creative team, which includes Creative Leads, editors, and producers.
• Recruit, mentor, and elevate the performance standards of the team.
• Collaborate with the VP of Creative on organizational design as the team expands.
• Generate new storytelling perspectives and oversee the writing or supervision of scripts from inception to final edit for paid social and native video.
• Remain actively involved in producing significant or category-defining projects.
• Manage production across the diverse content formats required by the vertical: remote user-generated content (UGC), in-studio and on-location filming, as well as AI-generated content.
• Align production methods with pipeline requirements.
• Direct documentary-style interviews featuring doctors, telehealth providers, patients, and UGC creators.
• Mentor team members in directing interviews to meet established standards.
• Work closely with editors throughout the entire production process until delivery.
• Take ownership of the editing process for major projects while overseeing the remainder.
• Evaluate performance data to inform incremental and transformative creative improvements that can scale.
• Navigate compliance requirements effectively (including FDA-style health claims and regulated category standards).
• Ensure that persuasive messaging and compliance are aligned rather than conflicting.
• Provide regular updates on creative performance, hiring, and craft initiatives to the Creative leadership team and stakeholders in the Health vertical.
• Be available for travel to locations for filming, footage collection, and interviews.
• Over 10 years of direct-response creative experience within performance-oriented settings (such as supplements, health, or telehealth), including at least 3 years in a creative management position.
• Proven track record of leading and developing a creative team of 5 or more contributors in writing, directing, and post-production.
• A portfolio showcasing video advertisements with clear performance metrics.
• Expertise in direct-response narrative structure: hook, problem, mechanism, proof, transition, offer, and call to action (CTA).
• Proficient understanding of modern direct-response practices.
• Fluency in AI-augmented creative processes.
• Regular utilization of AI tools for ideation, scripting, and post-production tasks.
• Proficient in production across various content formats: high-volume remote UGC, in-person studio shoots, on-location filming, and AI-generated or AI-assisted content.
• Strong skills in on-set craftsmanship.
• Fluency in editorial voice.
• Demonstrated ability to produce quickly and efficiently in performance marketing settings.
• Comfort with compliance requirements (such as FDA-style health claims and regulated health category language).
• Strong collaboration skills across Creative, Buying, vertical General Managers, Editorial, Brand, and Legal teams.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in a start-up-like environment.
