This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Account management —
• Collaborate with clients to meet tight deadlines, manage feedback, secure sign-offs, and oversee story distributions across multiple projects at varying stages.
• Oversee all project activities, working closely with clients to become a trusted advisor regarding campaign strategy and development.
• Offer strategic guidance to clients and cooperate effectively with internal teams to achieve successful project results.
• Creative work —
• Develop and confidently present ideas that align with client objectives while maintaining a strong news value, bringing them to life through persuasive written proposals.
• Design surveys that are engaging, thought-provoking, or entertaining around various topics while preserving integrity.
• Craft compelling copy and narratives that are both informative and enjoyable.
• Prior experience: 2–3 years in related communications roles with consumer clients; preference for PR agency or in-house experience, though journalism, strategic communications, or similar backgrounds are also considered.
• Earned media success: demonstrated history of working with earned media campaigns, understanding how to achieve strategic campaign objectives, and a passion for brand storytelling.
• Account management expertise: a proven track record of impressing clients, adept at managing and incorporating feedback, enjoying relationship-building, and comfortable leading client meetings and calls.
• A passion for writing: a strong portfolio of published articles on notable platforms and a knack for producing news copy that resonates, or demonstrable earned media coverage from successful past campaigns.
• Exceptional organization: highly organized, driven by lists, and capable of managing multiple ongoing projects seamlessly from inception to completion.
• News sense: attuned to news and lifestyle journalism, with the ability to identify compelling stories and effectively integrate brand strategy with creative elements.
• Innovative ideas: enthusiastic about generating concepts, overflowing with ideas, willing to voice opinions, and able to contribute to creating engaging survey stories that brands want to be associated with and journalists want to cover.
