This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in business communications over the phone while delivering outstanding Customer Service.
• Respond to release of information related telephone calls and inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Review, investigate, resolve, and reply to inquiries received via phone, email, or written communication.
• Record all calls, inquiries, and resolutions in detail within the designated areas of our software systems.
• Adhere to all department and/or site-specific processes and procedures as required.
• Achieve and uphold the department's productivity and quality assurance standards.
• Responsible for complying with all company policies and procedures as communicated by management.
• Ensure confidentiality by keeping all information encountered within the role strictly confidential.
• Maintain open communication with colleagues and management regarding any issues, complaints, incidents, etc., as they arise.
• Execute work according to the training and guidance provided, adhering to facility-specific procedures.
• Attend mandatory employee in-service meetings and/or training sessions when directed.
• Maintain a satisfactory attendance record and report to work as scheduled.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent (must be from an accredited institution recognized by the State Department of Education).
• Possess a friendly and professional communication style, along with strong customer service skills.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems is necessary. Proficiency in MS-Office at an intermediate/advanced level, along with one year of experience, is advantageous.
• Background in Data Entry, Medical Records, Health Care, Insurance Claims Processing, and Document Proofreading/Editing is preferred.
• Ability to remain organized while working efficiently; strong attention to detail is essential.
• Successfully pass the annual Introductory HIPAA examination (testing will be conducted annually as part of employee review).
• Must complete and pass a 90-day ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher.
• To ensure the safety of patients and staff, many clients require post-offer health screenings and proof and/or completion of various vaccinations such as the flu shot, Tdap, COVID-19, etc.
