Court Coverage Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of open court hearings and ensure attorney coverage via phone, text, and email prior to hearing dates.

• Negotiate fees in real-time, address counteroffers, and safeguard margins.

• Prioritize a fast-paced pipeline by triaging competing hearings.

• Address last-minute changes, cancellations, and urgent coverage needs.

• Facilitate onboarding and provide support to attorneys, addressing their inquiries.

• Keep law-firm clients informed about hearing statuses.

• Record activities, confirm assignments, and uphold accurate pipeline data.

• Identify recurring coverage issues and propose enhancements during team huddles and meetings.

• Strive to meet daily metrics for coverage speed, dropped hearings, book efficiency, and cost objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 1 year of experience in a role that involves high-volume phone outreach or direct negotiation.

• Proficient and effective on the phone, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple open items simultaneously.

• Able to remain calm and make decisive choices under deadline pressure.

• Comfortable with technology and quick to adapt to new platforms.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience in staffing, dispatch, gig-platform operations, or a high-volume call-center/outbound setting is preferred.

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs in a metrics-driven environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with CRM or scheduling tools is preferred.

• Exposure to legal, court, or collections operations is preferred.

• Comfortable using Mac OS and Google Workspace is preferred.
