This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
β’ P&L Ownership & Performance Management: You take complete economic responsibility for Italy, guiding revenue growth, profitability, and operational KPIs with a strong performance orientation. Through clear reporting and data-driven choices, you provide visibility and reliability for C-level executives.
β’ Team Building & Organizational Development: You lead and enhance the current team while expanding our local Italian organization across all functions into a solid structure. You create clear frameworks and established interfaces with our Munich headquarters, bolstering processes and cultivating an environment that encourages ownership, collaboration, and professional advancement.
β’ Market Development & Growth Strategy: You oversee the strategic and operational growth of our Italian business, establishing the groundwork for sustainable and scalable development. You advance the market with entrepreneurial insight and set clear priorities that align with our global growth strategy.
β’ Strategic Sales & Market Presence: Alongside the sales team, you actively promote expansion within municipal, healthcare, retail, hospitality, and transport sectors. You nurture existing customer relationships, secure new strategic accounts, and manage intricate sales cycles with a strong focus on closing and a profound understanding of the Italian market.
β’ Tender Excellence & Process Integrity: You evaluate the structure of tenders and public procurement processes to create efficient, legally compliant methods for the Italian market. With your regulatory knowledge and systematic approach, you establish a resilient foundation for the long-term success of the sales team.
β’ Customer Retention & Trust-Building: You ensure the successful long-term management of our existing customers and enhance our market position through effective stakeholder and escalation management. With high reliability and a commitment to quality, you foster enduring trust in the market.
β’ Entrepreneurial Mindset & Leadership Experience: You possess several years of experience in the Italian B2B landscape and have successfully driven above-average growth, developed teams, and scaled business units in a senior leadership capacity.
β’ Industry Insight & Strategic Foresight: You comprehend complex business models at the intersection of technology, operational implementation, and scaling. Ideally, you have experience in the mobility, smart city, SaaS, or real estate sectors.
β’ Regulatory Understanding & Tender Experience: You are well-acquainted with the nuances of the Italian market and have effectively navigated tenders or public procurement processes. You bring both technical expertise and an instinct for efficient, sustainable methods.
β’ Linguistic & Cultural Proficiency: You communicate in Italian at a native level and are business-fluent in English, allowing you to build local trust while confidently operating in an international context. Knowledge of German is advantageous but not essential.
β’ Strong Communication & Diplomatic Skills: You navigate confidently between local market realities and an international corporate environment. With a high degree of reliability and clear communication, you create alignment among diverse stakeholders and serve as an effective bridge between Italy and the DACH organization.
