This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand.
• Create and implement strategic plans aimed at enhancing brand recognition, acquiring customers, and driving market expansion throughout New Zealand.
• Direct and oversee multi-channel marketing efforts, including television, radio, sponsorships, print, out-of-home advertising, public relations, digital marketing, affiliate marketing, and CRM activities.
• Tailor global brand strategies, campaigns, and messaging to resonate with the New Zealand market and align with local audience preferences.
• Manage performance-driven marketing channels in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with local media agencies, creative collaborators, production firms, and media owners.
• Handle agency selection processes, engage in commercial negotiations, and oversee external partnerships.
• Take responsibility for annual marketing plans, budgets, targets, and overall market performance.
• Create local brand assets, develop innovative campaigns, and devise communication strategies to enhance market presence and customer engagement.
• Evaluate campaign performance, return on investment (ROI), cost per acquisition (CPA), and acquisition metrics to improve future marketing efforts.
• Ensure all marketing activities and communication channels adhere to local gambling regulations and industry standards.
• Represent the voice of the customer by identifying market opportunities, refining acquisition and retention strategies, and enhancing commercial performance across all channels.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior marketing or commercial leadership position within a high-volume transactional sector.
• Minimum of 3 years working in the B2C online gaming industry in New Zealand.
• Demonstrated history of successfully launching brands and driving significant business growth in the New Zealand market.
• Deep understanding of the New Zealand advertising, media, and marketing landscape.
• Experience managing relationships with media agencies, media owners, creative agencies, and production partners.
• Practical experience handling substantial above-the-line marketing budgets and overseeing end-to-end campaign execution.
• Strong expertise in campaign planning, forecasting, tracking, reporting, performance analysis, and optimization.
• Experience in leading and developing teams, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Strong commercial awareness combined with a data-driven, results-oriented approach.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation abilities.
• Capability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional international teams.
• Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements and responsible advertising practices in regulated industries.
