Counselor Education – Clinical Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Instruct a diverse array of courses online within the Masters and Ph.D. programs.

• Act as a generalist across the eight CACREP core areas, five doctoral CACREP areas, and CACREP specialties in clinical mental health counseling, school counseling, and Ph.D. in CES.

• Travel as necessary.

• Teach online courses, including those scheduled in the evenings.

• Collaborate with academic departments, community organizations, and public schools.

• Participate in professional organizations.

• Engage in professional scholarship and accomplishments.

• Contribute to teaching, mentoring, service, and honoring diverse perspectives.

• Support the university’s mission of inclusive excellence and the educational goals and well-being of students.

• Doctorate in Counselor Education by the appointment start date.

• Strong emphasis on teaching.

• Awareness, sensitivity, and effective collaboration with individuals and groups from diverse identities, cultures, backgrounds, and abilities.

• Proficient in utilizing appropriate conflict management skills.

• Preferred: experience engaging with historically under-served and/or underrepresented populations and first-generation college students.

• Teaching experience and familiarity with online course delivery are desirable.

• License eligibility in Colorado.

• Required documents include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching statement with sample course syllabi, informed response, graduate transcripts, and three references.

• Proof of work eligibility must be provided prior to finalizing an offer.

• Successful completion of an acceptable background check is mandatory.
