This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Deliver the highest standard of consultation to ecclesiastical leaders.
• Offer direct counseling services.
• Create community resources and establish referral networks.
• Provide support to fellow staff members.
• Uphold professionalism with a focus on quality and prompt documentation.
• Education: Master’s degree in social work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology, or a related field that qualifies for clinical licensure.
• Experience: At least five (5) years of professional experience post-master's degree, which includes a minimum of two (2) years after obtaining independent licensure. One year of post-independent licensure may be substituted by NOJOS and DOC Credentialing for the Sensitive Cases Team.
• Demonstrated Skills and Abilities:
• Advanced clinical competencies and openness to feedback.
• Proficient in facilitating skills/treatment groups.
• Capability to provide clinical supervision to other team members, including those in pursuit of clinical licensure.
• Professionalism with meticulous attention to quality in notes, consultations, and terminations.
• Polished consultation skills.
• Complete assignments delegated by agency and regional managers. Examples may include serving as a regional specialist, engaging in regional training, participating in headquarters committees, etc.
• Licensing:
• Must hold and sustain a current independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent clinical licensure).
• May necessitate state licensure for multiple states based on the service area.
• Licensure criteria for International Areas will differ by country.
• Role Complexities:
• Regular interactions and consultations involve Bishops, Stake Presidents, Mission Presidents, and General Authorities.
• Focus primarily on therapy with minimal case management.
• Administration of support programs such as Addiction Recovery.
• Note: In North America, reports are made to an Agency or Region Manager; in other Areas, reports go to the Area Region Manager.
