This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Deliver daily legal advice to HR, management, and various stakeholders on global employment issues, encompassing hiring, classification, accommodations, leaves, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
• Create, assess, and negotiate employment-related contracts and documents, including offer letters, separation agreements, settlement agreements, and policies/templates. Formulate templates and guidance materials.
• Oversee employment-related claims, charges, and litigation (including pre-litigation demands), shaping strategy and collaborating with internal stakeholders; supervise external counsel until resolution.
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to address employee relations and workplace investigations, providing counsel on processes, privileges, findings, and suggested corrective measures.
• Manage external legal counsel regarding immigration issues.
• Juris Doctor degree and active membership in the bar (Czech Bar Association).
• Proficient in English.
• Minimum of 7 years of pertinent employment law experience, either in-house or at a law firm, with a strong preference for multi-jurisdictional or global employment exposure.
• Demonstrated legal acumen with the capability to manage projects independently and convey complex issues clearly and pragmatically to non-legal professionals; proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with exceptional organizational skills; familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and matter/document management systems is advantageous.
