This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Reviews, prepares, and negotiates legal and transactional documents for potential reinsurance agreements.

• Offers legal support and advisory services related to transactional reinsurance to business units and executive management.

• Assists affiliates with U.S. and international reinsurance dealings, providing guidance on U.S. regulatory and legal matters.

• Conducts research and delivers legal advice on various legal and regulatory topics.

• Keeps track of new federal and state legislation impacting AZRA, its affiliates, and the reinsurance sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a law school accredited by the ABA.

• Active California State Bar license in good standing.

• 3-5 years of legal experience at a prominent law firm, focusing on reinsurance and/or financial transactions.

• Strong business or transactional experience with exceptional drafting capabilities.

• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Proven negotiation abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and online legal research platforms.
