Cost Manager – Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Providing counsel to clients on strategic initiatives and overseeing the prequalification of vendors.

• Evaluating proposals, bids, and bid leveling documentation.

• Overseeing estimating services for the entirety of the project.

• Delivering estimates and value engineering suggestions to clients.

• Setting up a cost reporting schedule and presenting financial forecasts.

• Overseeing cost control procedures and reviewing payment requests.

• Managing invoicing processes and final account settlements.

• Conducting post-contract evaluations with clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of pertinent experience in a cost management position within the construction sector.

• RICS accreditation or actively pursuing it is considered an asset.

• Experience in supporting cost management for medium to large-scale building construction, renovations, retrofits, or capital improvement projects.

• Experience in construction consultancy is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of technical aspects of the construction industry, including various procurement methods, value management, and value engineering.
