This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Deliver professional travel service support to corporate clients in accordance with active service agreements.
• Act as a travel authority and guide for corporate clients under contract.
• Organize domestic and international business travel while adhering to organizational travel policies.
• Arrange high-quality lodging and transportation options.
• Conduct interviews to assess the needs of travelers or corporate representatives.
• Utilize travel, airline, hotel, car rental, Amtrak, and ticketing systems to coordinate cost-effective travel solutions.
• Monitor entries and statuses within Action, Error, and Cancel operational queues, following relevant SOPs.
• Process reservation cancellations and modifications, promptly notifying client agencies.
• Provide clients with itineraries, updates on local customs, passport and visa requirements, vaccination certificates, and other travel advisory information.
• Investigate changes, trends, and offerings within the travel industry.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality customer service while suggesting value-added services.
• Maintain familiarity with operational IT systems, processes, and practices.
• Act as a backup consultant for other assigned clients or accounts.
• Work remotely from a designated home office.
• High School diploma or GED, or one to three years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in arranging domestic and international travel.
• Proficiency in the Global Distribution System Apollo and ticketing software.
• Capability to learn and effectively apply new processes and procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with a GDS, airline travel websites, and online booking tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Must be able to work remotely from a designated home office.
