Corporate Travel Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver a dedicated, high standard of service to all travelers and travel coordinators.

• Organize workload efficiently to meet deadlines.

• Show comprehension of account processes and adapt swiftly.

• Collaborate with the client’s Global Travel Manager on policy-related matters.

• Exhibit proactive thinking and a consultative approach.

• Provide guidance on Passport and Visa requirements.

• Implement Quality Control procedures in accordance with ISO27001 and PCI compliance.

• Suggest and acquire ancillary products as needed.

• Possess a strong understanding of high-speed domestic and intercontinental rail options.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English (exceptional verbal and written communication).

• Familiarity with pre-trip approval systems.

• Manage ticket issuance independently for both Air and Eurostar.

• Calculate reissues and changes promptly.

• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong writing skills.

• Efficiently utilize resources to complete tasks within agreed timelines.

• Consistent record of experience in a core business travel setting.

• Minimum qualification level of Fares & Ticketing VAII (formerly BA2).

• Knowledgeable in GDS systems; Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus.

• Strong understanding of domestic and European rail provider frameworks.

• In-depth knowledge of travel industry products.

• Awareness of Low-Cost Carriers available in the market.

• Experience with mixed mode booking tools.

• Team-oriented mindset.

• Proficient in using MS Word and Excel.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and adapt to varying travel request volumes.
