Corporate Travel Consultant – After Hours

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +21 more states.

📋 Description

• Delivering travel services for domestic, cross-border, and international itineraries

• Advising clients on efficient travel routes, the lowest available airfares, and various travel products/services

• Ensuring exceptional customer service through proficient use of computer systems and effective telephone communication

• Anticipating client needs and accommodating special requests

• Maintaining awareness and compliance with our clients’ procedures, programs, and policy guidelines

• Consistently applying Fox World Travel best practices

• Aiming to meet and exceed quality and productivity targets

• Ability to thrive under pressure and efficiently manage multiple tasks while preserving a professional relationship with clients

• Providing support for projects as needed

• Assisting customers with inquiries regarding the online booking tool and fulfilling online reservations

• Processing exchanges, voids, and refunds for travelers

• Keeping a current understanding of airline practices, programs, and operations

• Maintaining knowledge of vendor loyalty programs

• Demonstrating a high level of proficiency with Travelport+/Smartpoint GDS

• Extensive understanding of destination geography

• Offering specialized services to VIP clients

• Serving as a role model to promote exceptional customer service and professionalism

• Pursuing continuous improvement through training, constructive feedback, and identifying process enhancements

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant Business Travel experience or a suitable combination of education and experience is preferred

• Outstanding customer service abilities

• Willingness to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required

• Required proficiency in GDS, with a preference for Travelport+/Smartpoint

• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Friendly and professional demeanor

• Proficient in using a personal computer and various software applications
