This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of the technical discussions within the cybersecurity domain, including AV, EDR, Incident Response, Forensics, SIEM, MDR, AI Security, Vulnerability Management, Threat Intelligence, and more.
• Have a strong grasp of the Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Create and present technical presentations and product demonstrations customized to align with customer needs and technical proficiency.
• Oversee and implement Proof of Values (POVs) by showcasing the distinct advantages and capabilities of the CrowdStrike platform in relation to customer requirements.
• Effectively communicate the value proposition, competitive edge, and technical merits of the CrowdStrike platform to both technical and executive audiences.
• Quickly acquire, internalize, and promote new CrowdStrike products and capabilities as they launch—transitioning from learning to teaching to selling efficiently.
• Be a strong self-starter with the capability to work independently.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering teams; the Sales Engineer should serve as the technical liaison between CrowdStrike and prospects/customers.
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales engineering, IT, consulting, Digital Forensics and Incident Response, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Familiarity with malware analysis, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and risk prioritization frameworks (e.g., CISA KEV, CVSS).
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts relevant to threat detection, anomaly detection, or security automation—capable of engaging both skeptics and enthusiasts.
• Proficiency in writing and modifying basic scripts, with preferred languages being PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies.
• Background in large-scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Solid understanding of legacy and modern identity and SSO providers, including Active Directory, Entra ID, PAM Solutions, etc.
• Customer-facing experience and comfort in leading presentations.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS or involvement in security events like capture the flag are advantageous.
