This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +2 more states.
• Analyze and negotiate intricate commercial leases
• Counsel on lease modifications, renewals, expansions, and terminations
• Offer strategic insights on lease risk distribution
• Provide legal support for real estate acquisitions, sales, and development initiatives
• Execute and advise on due diligence processes
• Guide business leaders on adherence to federal, state, and local environmental health regulations
• Assist with investigations, audits, and regulatory inquiries
• Act as a trusted advisor to business teams regarding real estate strategy
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law institution
• Over 5 years of combined experience in commercial real estate and environmental health & safety (EHS) law
• Active admission and maintaining good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• More than 3 years of experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial leases
• At least 3 years of experience in supporting real estate transactions and due diligence efforts
• A minimum of 2 years of experience advising business partners on compliance with environmental and workplace safety regulations
• Over 2 years of experience providing counsel to cross-functional stakeholders
