This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the mortgage operations team at CrossCountry Mortgage (CCM) in their everyday tasks to enhance loan production levels.
• Collaborate directly with CCM customers, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and to facilitate prompt loan closings.
• Conduct reviews of submitted files from sales to processing to verify eligibility.
• Assess file completeness and eligibility during the initial submission to processing from sales, determining if the file is ready or requires adjustments.
• Suggest restructuring options for files that do not meet eligibility criteria.
• Assist in the review of mortgage loan applications and documentation, which may involve phone and computer tasks, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and sending documents overnight.
• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages for accuracy.
• Prepare rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages for delivery to borrowers.
• Examine documents and complete loan files, working proactively to identify issues by highlighting deficiencies and notifying the mortgage loan officer and/or loan processor.
• Clarify or correct information and obtain additional details as needed via phone, email, etc.
• Provide general clerical and phone support to loan processors as required.
• Collaborate with management to assist in various stages and areas of lending and processing as necessary.
• Help manage a pipeline that includes conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
• Deliver appraisals and/or property valuations to borrowers and ensure proof of receipt is obtained.
• Monitor outstanding items on all loan files and follow up with customers to guarantee timely receipt of necessary documentation.
• Ensure timely loan closings by coordinating directly with the Title Company and the customer to schedule appointments.
• High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 1 year of mortgage-related experience, including direct customer interaction.
• Preferred experience in sales support.
• Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Excellent skills in prioritization and time management.
