Corporate IT Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provides both on-site and remote IT assistance to hotel properties throughout the CALA region, encompassing Property Management Systems (Opera Cloud / Opera PMS), Point of Sale (POS) systems, key card/door lock systems, PBX/telephony, guest Wi-Fi, and PMS connections with third-party platforms (CRS, channel managers, revenue management, etc.).

• Ensures compliance of hotel IT environments with brand technology standards (IHG, Marriott, Hilton, or similar) as well as PCI-DSS requirements for payment systems.

• Oversees and directs IT projects from initiation to closure, including new hotel openings, property renovations, system migrations, and technology refreshes—managing timelines, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

• Compiles and submits weekly status reports detailing major IT projects and ongoing operations across all hotels in the CALA region, including project progress, unresolved issues, risks, escalations, KPIs, and key operational metrics for leadership review.

• Manages and maintains the company’s IT equipment inventory.

• Manages and maintains the company’s Software License inventory.

• Engages with management specialists, technical personnel, or vendors to resolve issues.

• Conducts and reports on IT Audits.

• Evaluates employees' job responsibilities and technical skills, recommending training as necessary.

• Develops proposals for systems analysis, programming, and computer services.

• Aids staff in diagnosing and resolving computer equipment issues through on-site or remote assistance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the CALA region to support multiple hotel properties.

• Resident of Mexico, Dominican Republic, or the US.

• 3-5 years of experience in end-user support and Information Technology within the CALA region.

• Proficient knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS), particularly Opera Cloud / Opera PMS, including configuration, user management, and troubleshooting.

• Experience in supporting hotel-specific systems and integrations such as Point of Sale (POS) systems, key card/door lock mechanisms, PBX/telephony systems, guest Wi-Fi networks, and PMS interfaces with third-party platforms (CRS, channel managers, revenue management, etc.).

• Five or more years of IT support experience providing end-user phone assistance, installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and repairing computer equipment in a networked environment.

• At least three years of experience in server and network troubleshooting.

• Strong focus on customer service. (More critical than technical skills)

• Familiarity with desktop integration to Active Directory.

• Working knowledge of local area network administration including protocols and standards, switching, routing, and firewall configuration.

• Technical proficiency in anti-virus, multi-factor authentication, and other cybersecurity measures for end-user technology.

• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

• Microsoft Certified Fundamentals: Azure is preferred.

• Must be resourceful and proactive in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and efficiently.

• Advanced knowledge of current Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.

• Advanced knowledge of Google G Suite or Office 365 applications.

• Experience in supporting mobile devices such as tablets, phones, and PCs.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.

• Capability to research hardware and software issues and products as needed.

• Ability to present ideas and solutions in a user-friendly manner.

• Highly self-motivated and a self-starter.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities.

• Ability to communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and team members to receive and direct work instructions, as well as to express any questions or concerns as needed.
