This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Contribute to the development of our finance function by scaling planning, reporting, analytics, and decision support through improved processes, enhanced data, and practical AI-driven automation.
• Strengthen the financial operating system that supports Pindrop’s growth—integrating financial planning, forecasting, SaaS metrics, cash visibility, and capital allocation to provide clear insights for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Board, and investors.
• Generate forward-looking insights, collaborate across the organization and General & Administrative (G&A) departments, and assume a pivotal role in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), IPO readiness, and investor communications as Pindrop expands.
• Utilize AI-enabled workflows to automate manual reporting, enhance forecast accuracy, identify performance risks more swiftly, and facilitate the Finance team's scalability with increased speed and precision.
• Oversee the corporate planning cycle, including monthly and quarterly forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Monthly Review Process (MRP), Long-Range Plan (LRP), and base/ upside/ downside scenarios, employing driver-based sensitivities to assess growth, burn, hiring, margin, liquidity, and financing requirements for the ELT and Board.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics, Data Science, or a related field, along with 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, which includes at least 2 years in investment banking or growth equity and substantial corporate finance experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
• A strong foundation in corporate finance modeling is essential, featuring advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, comprehensive knowledge of GAAP and NetSuite, and the capability to convert actuals into forecasts while developing scalable enterprise SaaS/usage-based models linked to revenue, margin, cash, and performance metrics.
• Proven expertise in managing the planning infrastructure from start to finish—comprising AOP, medium-/long-range planning, scenario and sensitivity analysis, FP&A/ERP systems, dashboards, and executive-level reporting—with practical experience in AI-enabled workflows, SQL/BI tools, and reporting automation.
• Familiarity with board/investor reporting and capital allocation/liquidity events (strongly preferred), inclusive of IPO readiness, M&A, and private fundraising; experience in corporate development and G&A business collaboration is a bonus.
