📋 Description

• Proactively identify and source software companies that align with investment objectives.

• Build a strong M&A pipeline of potential opportunities.

• Lead outbound prospecting through strategic and targeted outreach initiatives.

• Cultivate rapport and establish long-term professional relationships with business owners, founders, executives, and senior leadership.

• Establish credibility and position Harris as the acquirer of choice in the market.

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance the outreach process.

• Utilize the M&A CRM to manage the pipeline effectively and meticulously track activities.

• Leverage pipeline data to facilitate informed decision-making.

• Self-motivated individual with a proven history of taking initiative and meeting targets in a business development setting.

• Capacity to work independently and manage your own tasks efficiently.

• Strong skills in relationship-building, communication, and rapport establishment.

• Proficient in communicating effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.

• Ability to work autonomously and successfully manage complex projects through to completion.

• Positive, resilient attitude combined with an entrepreneurial spirit.

• Capable of engaging confidently and credibly with founders and senior executives.

• Exhibits professionalism and executive presence.

• Solid understanding of business operations and strong business acumen.

• 2–5 years of experience in M&A is preferred.
