Corporate Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor to executives and operational businesses regarding operational, compliance, and various legal issues.

• Oversee the drafting, evaluation, and negotiation of diverse commercial agreements.

• Develop, implement, and oversee compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to relevant laws.

• Weigh legal risks against business objectives to facilitate informed and high-quality decision-making.

• Work in conjunction with the legal team to ensure consistent and high-quality legal assistance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in a U.S. state bar in good standing.

• Over 6 years of pertinent legal experience, particularly in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including commercial leases.

• Strong business acumen with an entrepreneurial and strategic mindset.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in translating complex legal and regulatory issues into clear, actionable advice.
