This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the creation and execution of integrated communication strategies for the Obesity and Related Conditions team.
• Oversee various critical communication projects and manage the material review process.
• Facilitate internal communications and engagement activities such as town halls, onsite events, and executive memos.
• Direct the development of creative and multimedia content for internal platforms, websites, and social media channels.
• Spearhead the creation and distribution of internal communications and thought leadership materials.
• Work collaboratively with enterprise communication teams and agency partners on both employee and external communications.
• Manage metrics reporting for both internal and external communication initiatives.
• Stay abreast of integrated communication and social media trends, identifying potential opportunities.
• Conduct research and execute tactical plans for priority initiatives, data milestones, medical conferences, and DSE initiatives.
• Assist in budget planning and management in collaboration with vendors.
• Report directly to the Director of Corporate Affairs.
• Occasionally travel to the Thousand Oaks Headquarters and key events.
• Doctorate degree with 4 years of experience in public relations and/or communications, or a Master’s degree with 7 years, or a Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in public relations and/or communications, with a strong preference for backgrounds in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare.
• Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in social media strategy, content creation, and visual asset development.
• Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools and platforms, along with the ability to produce insights reports.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Quick, analytical, and creative thinking skills in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in collaborating with or managing public relations agency partners and vendor relationships.
• Professional interaction with cross-functional teams, corporate leaders, and external stakeholders.
