This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Focused acquisition, support, and management of both national and international corporate accounts within targeted segments such as foodservice, care, lodging, and facility care.
• Identify key decision-makers in prospective clients and nurture relationships to ensure satisfaction and confidence in all Ecolab Institutional services.
• Formulate and implement strategic account plans aimed at business growth.
• Craft a tailored strategy for each client based on their current and future requirements to foster a long-term, trusted partnership with Ecolab.
• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of Ecolab’s full range of products and services to design, structure, and deliver compelling customer proposals that cater to the specific needs of each prospect.
• Identify opportunities within potential customer accounts and effectively coordinate Ecolab resources to create comprehensive solution proposals that deliver significant value to the customer.
• Establish sales budgets for assigned clients that pinpoint opportunities both within and outside the Institutional Division.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies, structuring profitable deals to meet revenue and profit goals.
• Collaborate with global account teams, field sales, distribution, and other divisions, maintaining regular communication within Ecolab to ensure a clear understanding of strategies necessary to fulfill customer requirements.
• Employ various tools, applications, and reporting methods to create presentations and executive summaries that illustrate the value Ecolab offers to customers.
• Act as the subject matter expert regarding assigned customer businesses, sharing insights with key internal partners to enhance the overall customer experience provided by Ecolab.
• Represent Ecolab effectively and communicate the value we provide at industry and client meetings.
• At least 5 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the foodservice, care, lodging, or facility care sectors.
• A proactive sales mindset with a passion for setting and achieving targets.
• Demonstrated experience and a successful track record within a large, global, matrixed organization, achieving budget and growth objectives.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of Ecolab and assigned clients.
• Strong customer focus and profiling abilities combined with a strategic mindset and adaptability.
• Proficient in negotiating complex deals and executing pricing strategies.
• Strong business and financial acumen, along with a commitment to achieving results.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, capable of establishing cross-divisional and cross-functional networks within the organization and with customers.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, decisiveness, and skills in prioritization.
• Experienced in using CRM software, preferably Salesforce.
• Ability to collaborate with and support diverse, multicultural teams and clients.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe.
