This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +14 more states.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Genmab's corporate relationships, access strategy, and initiatives for designated key hospital and health system accounts, while providing expertise on additional hospital accounts as agreed upon with sales leadership.
• Assist in the launch planning process for Genmab medicines by offering insights on product access strategies and tactics specific to the hospital and health systems segment and key decision-makers within that segment.
• Create and implement access-focused account plans for assigned key accounts to ensure optimal access for Genmab medicines, aligning with corporate access objectives.
• Oversee cross-functional access planning and execution for assigned accounts, engaging key personnel who influence formulary/pathway decision-making and ensuring all Genmab resources are utilized effectively to demonstrate the value of our medicines to organizations and their patients.
• Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with senior executives and individuals involved in the P&T process at assigned accounts, aligning with both customer business needs and Genmab's objectives.
• Certify and deliver value propositions and PIE presentations that encompass complex clinical and health economic data to population health experts.
• Engage with Medical Affairs personnel and resources in a compliant manner to facilitate product access for eligible patients across assigned accounts.
• When necessary, negotiate mutually beneficial contracts aimed at optimizing access for eligible patients, coordinating contract execution through cross-functional collaboration with field colleagues.
• Provide insights on access market dynamics to Strategic Pricing and Contracting, as well as other Market Access leadership, to guide contracting and access strategies for the hospital segment.
• Deliver expert and compliant advice and communications to the Sales Force, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and other functional teams regarding hospital market dynamics and access opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively within a matrix organization, engaging both internal Genmab colleagues and external strategic partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an advanced degree is an advantage.
• At least 15 years of demonstrable success in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry or a related healthcare field OR a Master’s degree and a minimum of 12 years of proven success in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry or related healthcare field.
• A minimum of 5 years of combined experience in market access account management (corporate accounts, GPO, payer accounts) and/or sales leadership.
• Experience securing access for oncology buy and bill products within complex health systems.
• Proficiency in launching new medications into the provider-administered market (buy/bill), including a thorough understanding of the complete pharmacy operational process from purchase to patient administration.
• In-depth knowledge of health system formulary decision-making processes and the management of key personnel involved.
• Advanced understanding of reimbursement and access related to provider-administered (buy/bill) products, including the impact of pathways, payer coverage, reimbursement policies and processes, patient services, and contracting.
• Experience with market access launch of new products or start-up experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with integrating Health Economics and Medical Affairs resources into access planning.
• Experience in presenting intricate clinical and health economic value propositions, as well as budget impact models, to population health decision-makers.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a diverse range of internal stakeholders (e.g., Market Access Account team, CORE, Corporate Accounts, field sales, brand marketing, Medical, legal, compliance, Trade, Patient Services, Data & Analytics) to support access objectives.
• Experience leading pull-through initiatives with sales leadership.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
