This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of Core banking implementations, encompassing planning, execution, and post-launch support.
• Lead cross-departmental project teams, including internal stakeholders, clients, and third-party vendors, to ensure the attainment of project milestones.
• Convert client requirements into implementable project plans that maintain a balance between structure and adaptability.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring clarity, alignment, and satisfaction.
• Facilitate and engage in crucial project meetings, including kickoffs, status updates, and decision-making reviews.
• Manage scope, expectations, and communications with accuracy and professionalism.
• Steer complex core banking implementations from planning through successful conversion and launch, retaining ownership of milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress through detailed schedules, reports, and dashboards; proactively identify and address risks.
• Supervise essential deliverables such as data migration, testing, configuration, and deployment.
• Document implementation processes, procedures, decisions, and best practices in a clear, structured, and repeatable format.
• Ensure consistent documentation practices to support audit readiness and compliance.
• Offer feedback and suggestions to enhance implementation tools, templates, and processes.
• Share insights gained and contribute to the ongoing development of the Nymbus implementation playbook.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience managing technology or banking implementation projects, with at least 2 years focused specifically on core banking conversions or migrations.
• Proven ability to utilize AI-assisted tools such as Claude, Kiro, or similar platforms to enhance and expedite implementation efforts.
• In-depth knowledge of banking operations, financial systems, accounting, general ledger, lending processes, and core banking technologies.
• Familiarity with back-office processes and functions within financial institutions.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities, capable of juggling competing priorities and stakeholders.
• Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on outcomes and client success.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving fintech environment with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Availability during working hours primarily aligned with the Eastern Time Zone; candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred.
