This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Examine underwriting guidelines and accurately prepare policy documents in accordance with set standards.
• Confirm coverage specifics, limits, and premium information against source systems for precision before issuance.
• Manage endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in compliance with company policies and standards.
• Work together with onshore teams to address discrepancies and promptly fulfill document requests.
• Keep policy records updated in core processing systems to maintain data integrity.
• Follow service level agreements (SLAs) and turnaround times for policy issuance and associated workflows.
• Aid continuous improvement efforts by pinpointing process gaps or inefficiencies.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory obligations and internal audit controls for all policy documentation.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in insurance policy processing, issuance, or related operational support roles.
• Understanding of property and casualty insurance products and terminology.
• Experience in shared services, BPO, or offshore delivery environments is advantageous.
• Proficient in policy administration systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of policy documents.
• Capability to interpret and apply underwriting instructions and guidelines effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with distributed teams.
• Time management and organizational abilities to meet SLAs and manage multiple priorities.
• Problem-solving skills to quickly address discrepancies or data issues.
