Conversation Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance enterprise-level AI conversational experiences across chat, voice, SMS, and email platforms.

• Act as a reliable advisor to clients and internal teams regarding best practices in conversation design.

• Assess voice quality and interaction behaviors to uphold standards for naturalness and suitability.

• Develop repeatable frameworks for analyzing conversation and voice performance.

• Empower our Customer team to exercise sound design judgment autonomously.

• Collaborate across departments with Engineering and Product to identify quality gaps and implement enhancements through clear recommendations.

• Document insights and establish best practices to improve consistency and elevate the quality standard across deployments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience (e.g., in voice experience design, conversation design, product management, applied linguistics, etc.).

• Practical experience with voice technologies — conversational AI, speech synthesis, or audio production.

• Experience in transitioning NLU systems to LLM and an understanding of key use cases for RAG functionality enhancements.

• Proven experience in developing evaluation frameworks, rubrics, or QA processes.

• Excellent communication skills across both technical and business environments.

• Ability to work closely with the product in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

• Preferred: Native or professional fluency in Spanish and/or familiarity with additional languages.

• Experience with TTS providers or speech synthesis tools.

• Hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI tools and their deployment in enterprise or high-impact contexts.
