Controller – Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Supervise comprehensive accounting processes for multi-entity real estate portfolios, encompassing manufactured housing and land-lease properties.

• Oversee financial operations for around 30 distinct LLCs and reconcile 30 individual bank accounts.

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger accounting, recurring and adjusting journal entries, along with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Direct budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management.

• Supervise payroll, tax documentation, audit preparation, and financial reporting activities.

• Ensure precision, compliance, and timely reporting across all entities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle accounting experience within multi-entity real estate portfolios.

• Highly organized and capable of working independently.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with community managers, ownership, auditors, lenders, and vendors.

• Proficient in Excel and experienced with Rent Manager (a property-management software).

• Familiarity with tax documentation, 1099 preparation, fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and CapEx accounting.

• Strong foundation in audit preparation, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
